“Il genio degli ossolani nel mondo”

Palazzo Silva Piazza Giovanni Chiossi, 1, Domodossola (VB), NC, Italia

The exhibition, set up in conjunction with the release of the biographical dictionary created by Enrico Rizzi and published by Grossi Edizioni, showcases the most prominent figures among the Ossolani. These individuals, traversing the roads of Europe and the world, have left traces of their work—sometimes eccentric personalities, whose immense contributions have often been overshadowed by the tempests of history. This essential chapter, insufficiently explored, sheds light on the history of the valley, no less important than the unfolding of political events, dominations, wars, and natural disasters, which represent the only well-known and extensively studied aspects of Ossolan historiography.
