Natural Sciences for Everyone
Students will be introduced to the Natural Sciences Museum with an overview of the specific features of its exhibition layout. A museum educator will describe the different methods used for the preservation and classification of specimens, highlighting their distinctive characteristics. The tour includes sections dedicated to mammalogy, ornithology, entomology, ichthyology, herpetology, paleontology, and comparative anatomy.
The mineralogy and geology sections will then be explored, with attention to both local and non-local specimens. At the end of the visit, students will engage in a workshop focused on recognizing and completing information about selected specimens. They will also take part in a playful activity involving the search and analysis of displayed items and habitat association for each species.
