The parade of the eight coats of arms on the façade
On the facades of the palace, there are eight marble coats of arms embedded. In addition to these, three fleurs-de-lis of France, also made of marble, are incorporated on the north side. The display of these coats of arms, though discreet due to their elevated placement, is an integral part of the palace’s decorative scheme, with a specific commendatory purpose aimed at emphasizing the centuries-old history of the family, which was built, in part, through matrimonial alliances. All the coats of arms are carved in dolomite from Crevola. They are “Spanish-style” blazons with a rounded lower edge, dating back to the 16th century.
